Bigwin Inn East Entrance

Here is the eastern entrance to the East Wing of the hotel. This stairway leads up from the dock and is a long climb. A gentler slope can be taken to the main entrance at the front, however, this is the quickest way down to the lake if you are going in the opposite direction. If you turn to the left here, there is a path that will lead you up to the old water tower. Climbing the tower provides the most spectacular views of the island and surrounding area (especailly in the Autumn).
