This is the "fly through easter egg" that got cut from later versions. In terms of today's 3D, it is pretty primitive, but what fun it was. The camera didn't actually fit through the gates and we didn't apply complex textures or light, because our processors would have taken a decade to render it at that size. I particularly like the helicopter point of view near the end when the light gets very contrasty. Nice job Janet!


Here's the end of the game video. It starts in one of the "Houses of the Poets" and heads out into the town square (actually a hexagon). You can hear the people from the ancient market.

The Oracle rises up out of the well and fills you in on some of the local customs. He speaks in iambic pentameter, but I don't think anyone noticed. His langauge is a bit flowery for an ancient hunk of triangular rock and people complained they couldn't hear him clearly. I just didn't want to resort to contemporary vernacular.
